'Conditional Rating' Insert (requires the new 41 SDK version)
Many times, you'd like to get your users' input on something, and based on their answer, continue the conversation - ask them for more feedback, offer them something, or request something in return. The new 'Conditional Rating' insert allows you to do just that.
For example, use this insert for a fine tuned App Store/Google Play rating request: Start with a 5-star app satisfaction survey. The next action is based on the user's response. Those that indicate a high level of satisfaction will be asked to provide a rating in the App Store or Google Play. Those that indicate dissatisfaction will be asked to provide further feedback without ever leaving the app.
1st page: queries on satisfaction 2nd page: shown upon low rating 3rd page: shown upon high rating
The 'Conditional Rating' insert is based on a generic new capability of conditional flow within a single insert. For a survey question, you can define what happens upon each of the user's answers. You can also define a specific 'Thank you' note depending on the answer. More inserts will follow using this capability.
Audience filters by Custom Event
You can now use Custom Event data for audience filtering along with the existing audience filters. Custom Event filters exist under the App Activity audience tab and include filters such as: an event was triggered within a certain timeframe, an event was triggered a certain number of times, an event was never triggered, etc.
Audience AND / OR conditions
When defining audience filters within the App Activity and the User Attributes tabs, you can now choose if you want all conditions to be met (an AND condition) or just at least one of them to be met (an OR condition) for the user to be included in the audience.
This enables creating more sophisticated audiences such as: users that visited the Cart screen AND never tapped on the Checkout button within the last day; users that visited the 'Deals' screen OR visited the 'Flights' screen within the last week.
Survey Export with User Attributes
When you export survey results, we now include the user attributes along with each respondent's survey results. This is especially helpful when you are setting a user ID with Insert and want to correlate survey results with data you have about the user in other systems.
