Push Message Support (beta)
Send push messages to your app users via the Insert platform.
First, configure the push settings for each app you want to send push messages to, using the push credentials from Google/Apple.
Next, follow our installation instructions to add the relevant push-enabling code to your app.
Now you are ready to add your first push insert to your app. Tapping on the push message will open the app.
Note: This feature is still in beta. It requires SDK 30 or newer.
Full Customization of Insert Buttons
For each insert button you can set the button’s border (width and color), corner radius (round/square attributes) and pressed and disabled look and feel. These are all configured under the ‘Advanced Settings’ expandable menu for each button, and can also be included in your master style.
Multi-Question Survey and Combo Prev/Next navigation support
Navigate each combo/multi-question survey insert by tapping on the Previous, Next navigation buttons.
‘Next’ will be disabled if an answer is mandatory, as long as the user hasn’t answered it.
(Note: the web preview currently does not show the Next, Prev buttons one next to the other).
Android GIF Support
You can now use GIF images in Android inserts. Animated GIFs will also work, just make sure they are not too heavy.
External Audience Support
You can now use your existing audience service as the basis for the audience decision. This requires integration.
Designated Sign In page per company
Each company can now login only from its custom login URL in the form of <company-name>.insert.io.
If a user reaches app.insert.io he is offered to enter his company name and IS redirected to the dedicated company’s sign in page.
