Permissions per application
When creating a new user, the administrator can select the list of applications to which this user will have access. The user will see only applications that he/she are allowed to see and inserts of these applications.
This enables you to assign access to specific apps to different providers, partners and users within your company.
Multiple Roles Per User
Each organization has its own publish flows and access rules. With Insert, you can now mix and match several pre-defined roles and assign them to your users. This was done to provide you with flexibility to build your desired publish workflow.
- Author - permissions to create inserts, edit draft inserts and delete draft inserts. Once an insert is ready, the author submits the insert for approval.
- Publisher - permissions to publish inserts and stop running inserts.
- Admin - permissions to manage users and appications.
A new user can receive one of these roles, or several of them.
If you want to ensure a dual review process, where each insert publish undergoes review, provide different users with the author and publisher roles, respectively.
If a user is defined as both an author and a publisher, the user will be able to create new inserts and publish them without a review.
